OUR STORY
This is the story of a little girl in
Colombia, whose grandma would open the doors of her home at lunchtime to total
strangers (simpler times back then).
These strangers all gathered around grandma’s dining table to share a meal,
and there was the little girl running
around helping out...or so she thought, Lol. ​​​
​​After many afternoons of sharing tasty, hearty, home-cooked meals these strangers became friends and family!​

MEET YOUR CHEF
Chef Patty’s culinary journey began as a home cook,
where she quickly realized that cooking and sharing
her food to bring joy wasn’t just a hobby—it was her
true passion! This realization inspired her
to establish Gonzo’s Made For You and also
paved the way for her return to college.
​
Chef Patty holds dual A.A.S. degrees in Culinary Arts
and Hospitality Management, along with an
Event Planning Management Certificate. This
enables her to merge her culinary and hospitality expertise with her creative and artistic flair
for event planning. She is also a
Certified ServSafe Food Manager, a program
created by the National Restaurant Association
to ensure food safety and sanitation standards
are met and maintained across the
hospitality industry, with a particular focus
in restaurant and commercial kitchens.

Chef Patty seamlessly combines her technical culinary
skills with vibrant Latin and International flavors.
Her approach to cooking and hospitality is deeply rooted in her core values where meals go beyond
nourishment—they’re an opportunity to unite
friends and family, offer comfort, and create
everlasting memories.
She is a highly experienced culinary professional whose career spans across catering, personal chef services, and education. In addition to running her successful catering business, she currently serves as a Sous Chef and lab coordinator at Middlesex College in their Hospitality, Culinary Arts, and Dietetics Department. A dedicated educator, she is passionate about the power of mentorship and support in helping students succeed. Through her teaching, she imparts essential culinary skills and principles while preparing students for successful careers in the ever-evolving hospitality industry.
